We also want Link Tribe Capital to rely on the respect of human beings, ethical approaches and transparency. Convinced that socially responsible enterprises behave better in the longer term, we place Corporate Social Responsibility at the basis of our approach, and we want our investments to be respectful of CSR principles. We might even privilege social approaches to pure search for profit, lying therefore in a somewhat disrupting approach from classical capital fund. We are indeed likely to invest in so called “social businesses” (let’s say, between nonprofit and for profit, with an ascertained social impact), and will, on the other hand, exclude activities purely based on profit search, without social impact.
CSR relies on three principles, namely sustainability, accountability and transparency.
Sustainability includes environment-friendly approaches, as well as respect of the various stakeholders, being actors of the corporation, local communities, suppliers, customers or financial stakeholders.
Accountability is key, including social impact measurement. Although financial or activity metrics are more often mentioned by investees, measuring the impact on the environment (in a broad sense, including local communities or customers) is also important.
Transparency is an absolute must.
“Link” is an important part of our name. We consider that creating links between human beings is at the core of our mission.
Finally, Link Tribe Capital’s investment strategy relies on three pillars:
- Tribe marketing
- Wellness
- Silver Economy
